While driving through the rain, a woman spotted a little puppy chained up outside in the freezing cold. The puppy didn’t try to shelter from the rain because a larger dog occupied the covered area nearby, refusing to share its space.
Nearby, there were some bowls and an abandoned building, suggesting the puppy was left to guard the site, even though the bowls showed signs that it was fed infrequently. One bowl was empty and the other had some bone remnants.
Concerned for the puppy’s well-being, the woman decided to visit regularly and bring it food. She waited until the puppy, nicknamed Thomas, finished eating because other stray dogs in the area would try to steal his meal.

No one ever came to check on the dog, reaffirming there was no owner responsible for his care.
Eventually, the woman reached out for help. A local animal shelter in an apartment was full, but she managed to arrange a temporary care facility for Thomas in Yekaterinburg.

He was taken to a vet for a health checkup and castration, with plans to find him a loving home soon.
Thomas, described as a friendly and affectionate puppy, is now waiting for a family to give him the love and care he deserves. Anyone who opens their heart to this sweet dog will find him to be a grateful and loving companion.
