One day while driving home in Denpasar, Bali, Rico Soegiarto spotted a severely malnourished and injured Siberian Husky lying by the roadside.
The dog’s fur was so sparse and she was so frail that it was challenging to identify her breed. Faced with this heart-wrenching sight, Rico could not leave her behind.
Although he already cared for four rescue dogs, Rico was immediately drawn to the puppy, especially to her bright blue eyes that seemed to hold onto life against all odds. He named her Hope, a testament to her resilient spirit.
